Frequently Asked Sponsorship Questions
1. What does my sponsorship pay for?
The expense of mounting an event of this type are considerable - often in excess of
$50,000. Sponsor contributions are applied directly to these expenses, for
example:
- Facility rental
- Insurance
- Arena transport
- Local truck and van rentals
- Heavy equipment (Fork Lift) rental
- tables and chairs
- audience seating
- security
- advertising
- programs
- tickets
- trophies
- prizes
- many other expenses...
2. Who gets my sponsorship money?
Event expenses are paid for through the host event.
Sponsorship money is paid to the host event and used to cover the expenses incurred by the RFL Nationals.
3. What happens to excess sponsorship money?
If sponsorship funding exceeds the event expenses (unlikely, but possible)
the excess will be carried forward and applied to future RFL Nationals events.
4. I want to be a sponsor - what do I do?
Contact the sponsorship coordinator at the e-mail address below. Please provide
your contact information: e-mail, telephone, and mailing address. If
your selected sponsorship level includes advertising space in the event program
we will contact you to obtain the particulars for your advertisement.
